"Basteque" was the cornerstone of Carosel. He was a Best In Show winner, the winner of the 1992 DPCA Top Twenty, and a top producer. Most of all he was a devoted companion , protector and friend.

Basteque is the sire of 61 American Champions plus Champions in Dominican Republic, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uraguay, Canada, Mexico and other countries.

He is also the sire of multi ROM Champions, Agility, Obedience and working dogs. His daughter Ch and Mach Ch Carosel Mexican Princess ROM was the first Ch and Mach Ch Doberman. His granddaughter, Ch and Mach Ch Carosel Sudden Joy, ROM also joined that exclusive group of dual titled Dobermans

Basteque lives on today in his children , grandchildren and the occasional litter from his frozen semen
